Simply pull one loop through another and you’re on your way to creating fun pillows, blankets, cowls, and scarves. Look like a knitting pro without ever learning a stitch.

So, I really LOVE the regular loop yarn (the pink/purple variegated). BUT if I would have felt this yarn(the light blue, it looks grey in the photo) in a store and not bought it online, I would not have bought it at all... The glitz looks cool but it doesn't feel all that cool and what is supposed to be the soft part (blue part) is not silky soft like the regular yarn it feels more like a cheap sherpa blanket. I am sure that it will not wash and wear as nicely as the rest of the yarn in the blanket. My niece (she is 8) loves it however, she picked it out for her blanket and she is happy so that is what matters. I have very sensitive skin to textures because of nerve issues so the plastic threads that they use for the glitz really bother me. The threads are a thin flat plastic that kind of remind me of tinsel or fairythreads. The corners and edges feel uncomfortable almost sharpe compared to the soft of the rest of the yarn (pink/purple variegated) in the blanket. I was disappointed that it just wasn't the same quality as the rest of the yarn.
I've made several projects with Off The Hook Yarn and had some bits and pieces left. I decided to make a throw. I used the Vanilla Glitz to tie all the colors together. Only problem is, now my other 8 grandkids want to know where their blankets are. One of the things I appreciate most about Lion Brand loop yarn is that the loops are consistent across all the different colors. This has not been the case when I've used other brands. I know some people say the Glitz is scratchy, but so far, none of my grandkids have complained that the things I've made are too scratchy to use.
It took a while to get here but once I got it, it worked out great
