Mandala® Ombre Yarn

SKU: 551-207BA

$8.99

Each color in Mandala® Ombré gradually blends into the other in both tonal and multi-colored versions. The printing technique allows for some of the cream yarn base to show through, creating a hand-dyed, artisanal effect. Mandala Ombré is slightly thicker than the original, spun with multiple plies of premium acrylic, which give it the look and feel of merino at a fraction of the cost.

So soft!!!

Very easy to work with, gorgeous and so so so soft! The only thing I didn’t enjoy much is how sudden the colour changes were, most yarns will gradually blend into the next colour and this one goes STRAIGHT from one to the other with little gradient

Amigurumi Perfection

I wanted a yarn that would do blocks of color but give some pizazz to an amigurumi pattern I had purchased. The ombré worked perfectly. I used a 4.5mm hook. The yarn did not split, there were no knotted joins, and I loved the way the colors flowed into one another. I have other colorways to make other amigurumis. I am also thinking of making a sweater for a little one with one of the colorways.

Granny Shawl with a few Virus Rows

Mandala yarn never disapoints me. Every project has turned out well. The variety of colors is marvelous to choose from, and is lovely to work with. I made this triangle with Mandela Zen color ombre and mixed the granny stitches with a few rows of virus stitch for fun. Soft and pretty!
