Not as Impressed as I'd Hoped to Be

I'd honestly expected something more from this yarn but it's a pretty basic cotton yarn with a typical level of stiffness and splittingness found for cotton yarns. The color is wonderful and I do like that it is made from US sourced cotton, but that doesn't make up for the price.

Super soft

I was using the 24/7 cotton yarn before, but I wanted to try making a Daisy bag with this yarn and I love it! It’s a bit peeling but super soft and I love the pink color! I’ll definitely use it for other projects in the future!

My favorite cotton yarn

An excellent soft cotton yarn, great for baby projects. Very nice drape. Well spun and doesn't split like many cotton yarns I've used in the past.

Lovely, soft yarn

I love this yarn, and it is oh so squishy and soft for cotton! Much softer than the 24/7 cotton or re-up cotton. It’s spun & similar in construction to the 24/7 DK cotton. It is not a chainette construction like 24/7 cotton. I can’t wait to start another project with this yarn!

Good yarn, but different shades of black

I bought 10 of the black cotton yarn. There is no dye lot number but it was only clear that there were 2 different shades of black when I would start my project. It was frustrating to have to start, take apart, and restart my project multiple times. Overall, I like the cotton yarn.

Hi Christina - our apologies for any mixed dye lots in your order! Local Grown Cotton does have dye lots, and you can find that number printed above the barcode, in the upper right corner.

So special

Lovely cotton yarn to work with. It's not as splitty or as soft as Lion brand mako cotton. I haven't done it but I think stitch patterns would hold up well in this yarn. I also don't have any knowledge of how it will wash or hold up to wear.
