These are nice needles at a good price. Light weight but sturdy, these are perfect for larger projects.
I choose size 17 knitting needles to use for jumbo yarn i had bought from a craft store. I was thrilled when these finally came. However not one hour in and they fell apart. the plastic cord came out of the needles with very little pressure. Of course I didn't want to wait for another 2 weeks for a new pair to arrive or buy a more expensive pair of amazon. So I had to super glue the cord back in then I wrapped the joints in washi tape. They fell apart a few days later but I redid the steps. I'm sure I'll figure something out to keep these things together if I ever venture into jumbo yarn again
Other than that I do love the texture, and the strength of the plastic cord in general (not counting where they join) is pretty good, and once I figure out how to keep it all together I think it'll be a great addition to my slowly growing needle collection. However it looks like the cord coming off at the join seems to be a design feature to allow you to change out cords. I don't know how it'd work since there wasn't a way to lock them in place but this maybe something you want if you like to switch between cords a lot.
I dunno I just wasn't impressed for circular needles that costed me basically 13 us dollars.
