This “yarn” was so easy to work with. I needed 2 skeins to make a 50x55. So insanely soft and very sturdy. There is weight to it as well.
I really enjoy this yarn. I'm making a 40" x 60" blanket using HDC and a 30 mm hook. It will take exactly 3 skeins. The yarn is soft, fluffy, beautiful, and HEAVY. Perfect to make a blanket & then tuck yourself under and not get up that day.
Love the texture and weight of this blanket. Used 3 to make a blanket for my daughter heading off to college.
I was surprised by how heavy the skein is! Whoomph! It's delightful, though, soft and pretty. While I'm sitting on the couch with my kid, trying to figure out how to "hand crochet" it without tightening it too much, my kid is not helping---she's trying to take it away from me and drape it all over herself! So, I guess I know who's getting the blanket when I finally finish it.
this yarn is the softest and most lucious yarn and so easy to work with! I will be buying more. I am not sure how it will launder but am hopeful.
I wanted something that was a tighter knit so I used size 50 needles. I used four skiens and ended up with a really soft, 20 pound blanket.
