Beautiful afghan

I'm currently knitting this pattern for the 5th time. Two them are in my home and the others have been gifts for family members who are thrilled with them. The pattern is simple but amazingly attractive and makes a truly beautiful, cozy afghan. The Wool-Ease chunky yarn is a dream to work with and I've since used it in other patterns. It makes me look like an expert knitter. :)

I've finished three of these, one for each of my grown sons and my husband wants one, too, so I'll start his soon. These are beautiful as well as cozy warm.

I love cables

I needed a quick wedding gift and this was exactly what I was looking for. The recommended yarn has been discontinued so I used 2 strands of Pound of Love held together. I used just under 3 skeins. My gauge was a little off, but I am very happy with the results.
