Knit Mood Blanket 2024

SKU: M23293

Capture a moment in time by knitting a mood blanket that’s unique to you! Mood blankets can begin at any time and last as long as you need, however, this pattern is written to be worked over a period of 6 months. Mood blankets are a great way to document special times. Expecting a baby? Stitch a row every day until baby arrives. Planning a wedding? Count down the days with a mood blanket!

Like our temperature blanket, you will work two rows a day. However, instead of color being based on temperatures, here you will choose a color that matches how you’re feeling. We’ve created a chart with colors assigned to 10 different moods, but feel free to swap out our choices for colors that better represent you! You will need 14 balls of Color Theory yarn to complete a 180 day (360 row) blanket. We’ve suggested two balls for the colors that are assigned to the moods Loved, Happy, Creative, and Neutral. Arrange your colors in any way you want as long as you have a minimum of 14 balls of Color Theory yarn total.

The number of balls per color we’ve suggested should be used as a guideline only. You may use more or less of each color depending on how many days per mood you work. You will get approx. 14 days (28 rows) from one ball.
