Fold in the Cheese Dish Towel (Knit)

SKU: 21153M

$4.50

Reconnect with an iconic Schitt’s Creek moment! You can stitch up this dish towel to assist in your own kitchen endeavors whether or not you know how to “fold in the cheese”. The towel is knit in one piece in the round, forming a tube to avoid a visible “wrong side” of the fabric. The lettering is embroidered using duplicate stitch (sometimes called Swiss Darning).

Brought to you in partnership with Schitt’s Creek.

The idea is great but....

I knitted this up for my sister as a Christmas present. The idea of it is so much fun but, sadly, I won't be gifting this. This tea towel is huge. I could literally add sleeves and wear it as a sweater. The lettering is duplicate stitched on the towel and it turns out i'm not very good at duplicate stitch and it looks pretty bad. I am planning to attempt another dish towel but I will use the letter template to stitch in the second colour instead.

Hello - we're sorry to hear this gift didn't end up exactly as planned! This does make a larger dish towel (15' x 30') - maybe it could be repurposed as a wall hanging or pillow cover?
