holds a BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute. She was going to switch majors away from fashion halfway through her degree until she took her first knitting class and fell in love with knitwear! After working in the fast fashion industry, Stahl dreamed of starting her own brand and she founded Stahl Knit in 2020. The brand creates joyful knitwear and crochet pieces that are inspired by the concept of childhood nostalgia, incorporating 70s retro craft techniques with Y2K shapes and icons. One of Stahl’s fondest memories was visiting her grandparents’ house and her grandma's interior decor played a huge role in Stahl’s aesthetic. Stahl’s work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal and Vogue. Above all, Stahl hopes each piece she creates sparks pure happiness!
