I'm Anastasia, the designer and creator behind Journey Chanel Designs! I am a happily married mommy of 4 beautiful girls. I started my crochet business in 2016 when I was pregnant with my 3rd daughter. I began selling finished items and making baby clothing, which eventually lead me into designing for both children and adults. Ever since then I have been determined to create size inclusive garments that are fun to make and simple to construct for any level of crocheter. I especially love to play with stitches and figure out ways to combine both lace and texture together to create a truly unique pieces.

2 different dye lets sent with the kit ...

I haven't made the pattern because Lion Brand sent me 2 different dye lots for the 5 skeins I bought in the kit. I'm disappointed that a yarn company would not be more careful. It's giving me pause for future kit orders.

Love this top

I love this top and the yarn - I chose the same color and yarn that the designer used. It was a kit from Lion Brand so I got a great deal cause it was on sale. I've used 24/7 yarn before but I have it in the 4 ply. It took me a while to figure out that the yarn used for this is 24/7 but a DK weight. I did read through the pattern and it looks thorough. I can't wait to make it and if I can submit a picture when I'm done I will.

I love Journey Chanel designs. They are written in all sizes and are designed to be pretty and functional. This one is so pretty and not only for Summer, but can be worn over a turtleneck in the winter. I am planning on making it with 24/7 DK in the orange color, Tamarindo. It's going to be quite pretty.
