Fun easy pattern

I'm making this for a friend who requested it. I did change one colorway from Summer Day to Vintage Carousel, and it looks fabulous (less green, more purple). Personally I'm not crazy about the way Pink Marmalade factors in, but my friend will love it. Such an adjustable pattern because Ferris Wheel has many wonderful color options! That there are no ends to weave in? BLISS! It's not the quickest afghan pattern to work up because it's worsted weight, but it has a lovely drape. Definitely TV-watching project, so simple!

Love this pattern

I love how this yarn feels and how easy this pattern is. So far it looks fantastic. I took off a star because the yarn goes from thick to super thin and I had to replace one of the summer days skeins.

What luscious colors!

Isn't it just amazing how colors can come together from a skein into a afghan in ways you (or at least I) never could have imagined just looking at the skein itself. I've used this brand of yarn before but never could have envisioned the blanket that I saw. Knowing Ferris Wheel yarn works up well, it was a no-brainer. I knew I had to have it, and after reading other reviews, took the plunge. Hope to get started soon...

The Orion blanket

I saw this pattern and fell in love with it. I have been making blankets for other people, but this one is for me. I like the yarn and the color graduations.
