I made this little lovey for a baby shower gift and it was an absolute hit! I sewed sleepy eyes on him because it’s for an infant.
As far as the pattern goes, I found that I stitch too tightly, because the first face I made was more cone-shaped (looked like a mouse instead), but my second attempt was better and I adjusted the pattern a bit to give a rounder face. I had trouble understanding the star blanket pattern (this was my first time at one). I watched a few YouTube videos and then it clicked. So aside from my own personal setbacks, this pattern is great and the lamb couldn’t be cuter! (Even if mine isn’t as adorable as the original)

Cute as can be....

I loved making this Lamb Lovey for my to be great granddaughter. I ran out of white to edge the blanket so I used the taupe. I did not like working with the Alpaca yarn, strands too loose causing a lot of splitting and redoing. All and all, it came out adorable.
