I like how the afghan came out, but will NEVER do such a project again. I despise weaving in all those ends. The big problem I didn't anticipate until it was time to sew the 3 panels together: no instructions were provided for how to join them given that there are many yarn colors. I ended up using the existing yarn tails for sewing them together, when they were long enough. Otherwise I used appropriately colored yarn to join two pennants. I wish that the pattern had provided more guidance on how to sew the three panels together, given so many colors were involved. This is why I gave the pattern only one star.
