Thanks to Clover's unique processing technique, "Takumi" needles make for smooth knitting right from the start. The more you knit with them, the smoother they become to the touch. "Takumi" needles are also 60% lighter than aluminum needles of the same size, so your hands don't tire even after long hours of knitting.

These double pointed needles are great quality. I appreciate that Lion Brand sells Clover products. While this needle set met expectations, shipping did not - which is a reflection on the organization more so than the item. I paid for package protection yet the package still took longer than the communicated timeframe (over 10 days)! When I received the package, there was no bubble wrap in the box - only needles in a box resulting in the needles sliding between the folds of the box flaps due to movement during transport. If I had cut deeper or ever so slightly to the right, or if the box had been smashed, the needles would have arrived broken. Thankfully that was not the case but I communicate this as a concern for the packing and shipping process so Lion Brand becomes aware.
