Cute bag design

My daughter wanted this bag patten it is so cute! She is a beginner her first attempt it didn’t turn out right I reached out on the YouTube video and asked a question never got a response. So that is why I took off a star a few weeks has gone by it’s not like I expected a answer right away. It just if you going to send a YouTube tutorial it would be nice to answer your customers.
Other than that she learned some new stitches and she made another bag she just did her own thing with what she learned from the pattern and video. So regardless she was able to make a bag with this kit!
She is 13 and I was no help because idk what I’m doing lol. I think she did good!

Echoes Cardigan

Rachel's pattern and instructional video are great. I love the way the cardigan turned out. I like learning more about the designer.

Echoes Cardigan and mandala yarn

I love the look of this sweater kit. The stitches for the interesting pattern were easy to learn and execute. I checked my gauge and began (H hook). After crocheting about 10" of the back panel I realized that the material was too stiff. So I started a front panel with a hook 2 sizes larger (J hook), and the worked material was still too stiff. Maybe a softer yarn would be better in this pattern. I repurposed the mandala yarn to an afghan with a "ripple" stitch and the yarn feels much softer and has a better drape (H hook).

Hi Diane - if you're finding the fabric is too stiff right after crocheting we recommend blocking your swatch/WIP and seeing if that improves the softness and drape. Oftentimes the fabric needs that soak or steam to relax the sticthes and be a little more drapey.
