Knitting: Cable: Mock Right Twist

(multiple of 12 sts)

Pattern:

Row 1 (RS) *P1, K2tog leaving sts on needle, k first st, sl both sts from needle, p1, k8; rep from * to end.
Row 2 *P8, k1, p2, k1; rep from * to end.
Rep rows 1 and 2.

Note: this is a generic pattern for creating this cable. For a single repeat, it would be 12 stitches. In the example shown, there are three repeats of the stitch, so to make the same, you need to cast on 36 stitches (3 x the 12 multiple)
