3ch, ss to join. (3 sts)
2nd round: Sc all. (3 sts)
3rd round: Sc all. (3 sts)
4th round: 3sc in each st. (9 sts)
5th round: 2dc in next 3 sts, sc in next 2 sts, ss in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts. (12 sts)
6th round: Dc in next 6 sts, dec, ss in next 2 sts, dec. (10 sts)
7th round: Dc in next 4 sts, sc in next 2 sts, ss in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts. (10 sts)
8th round: Dc in next 4 sts, sc in next 2 sts, ss in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts. (10 sts)
9th round: Dc in next 4 sts, sc in next 2 sts, ss in next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts. (10 sts)
10th round: Sc in next 5 sts, 2sc in each of next 5 sts. (15 sts)
11th round: Sc in next 9 sts, 2sc in each of next 3 sts, sc in next 3 sts. (18 sts)
12th round: Sc all. (18 sts)
13th round: Sc all. (18 sts)

At this point, stuff the seahorse and insert the twist tie that you will crochet around to give support to the tail.
18th round: [Sc in next 2 sts, dec] 3 times. (9 sts)
19th round: Sc all. (9 sts)
20th round: [Sc, dec] 3 times. (6 sts)
21st round: Sc all. (6 sts)
22nd round: Sc all. (6 sts)
23rd round: Dec, sc in next 4 sts. (5 sts)
24th round: Dec, sc in next 3 sts. (4 sts)
25th round: Sc all. (4 sts)
26th round: Sc all. (4 sts)
Now cut the exposed part of the twist tie or push it into the body so that none sticks out the end of the tail.
27th round: Dec, dec. (2 sts) Finish off.

Dorsal fin
1st row:
6ch.
2nd row: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st. (5 sts) Finish off.

Making up
Attach the dorsal fin. Sew pony beads to small circles of felt, and then sew these to the body.
