Puppy Dog Sweater (Knit)
SKU: PUPPY001
The Puppy Dog Sweater is knit top-down, seamlessly in the round. This is an intermediate difficulty pattern. Please consider bundling this pattern with the Kitty Cat Sweater Pattern!
Some techniques you will encounter in this sweater: knitting in the round, folded collar, increase/decrease stitches, stranded colorwork with multiple colors, intarsia in the round (if you choose this technique), duplicate stitch, and some embroidery techniques (explained in pattern).
Construction
Sweater starts top-down with a folded collar. Repeating motifs are included and suggested to use stranded colorwork technique.
Dog faces were added to the sweater using either stranded colorwork or intarsia in the round. Stranded colorwork will create a much heavier sweater than intarsia will.
You will select the “base type” dog chart that corresponds to the duplicate stitch chart you want to use and knit the base type with one color. Details will be added to the dog faces with duplicate stitch and embroidery techniques included in the pattern

Finished sweater circumference:
36 (38) 40 (42) 44 (46) 48 (50) 52 (54) inches
Ease is not included in the finished sweater circumference, so these measurements represent the exact measurement of the finished sweater. I recommend choosing a size that is 3-5 inches larger than your actual bust size to allow for adequate positive ease. For instance, if your bust size is 42 inches you would want to choose a size 46 for this sweater.
