Fun Colors!

I really enjoyed working with this yarn. The project that I used it for was so much fun to do. It was hard to put down because I could barely wait to see how the colors would transition. I used two different skeins, using each for two rows, to make it more interesting. This is a gift that I will be giving...hard to part with, but I can always do another ;)

Using to Make Granny Squares for a Blanket

I disassembled each of the eight balls of Mandala yarn that I bought, and re-rolled them into balls of their separate colors, to use to make a granny square blanket that uses 7 colors in each granny square. I put them in partitions that keep each ball’s colors separate, along with the color band that came with the skein, and will first make squares only using the colors in the ball it came out of, then will try mixing colors from the different segments. I’m an avid knitter but am just learning crochet, so: new skill, new yarn to try. I admit that I got this idea from another crocheter but I think it’s brilliant.

Mandala Yarn gets the job done

I purchased this yarn as it was the proper type for the instructions in a book. The yarn had a nice color and feel. I was able to make 2 hats with extra to spare, and the hats came out great.
