River’s Edge cardigan was inspired by the quiet banks of winding rivers, the simplicity and serene landscapes and flowing life of the river. Taking this and translating it into a cardigan was a balancing act. This seamless knit with collar that is worked with the body, borders a cable that twists and flows down the center of the back. The classic look of a cardigan with an elegant cable makes a timeless piece.
Hello, my fiber friends. I am Makenzie, the yarn loving, cable obsessed, always knitting designer at Hanks And Needles. With one, two, or more patterns always in the works. Yarn is always in hand or close by along with my notebook for the new ideas that come as I work. My love for yarn (and knitting) began in 2000, but became a passion when I taught myself to cable.
