My husband wanted a “Water Buffalo Lodge” hat to complete a Fred Flintstone costume for summer camp. When I saw the sale ad I thought Faux Feathers would be perfect. I crocheted it paired with a worsted weight yarn which helped with structure and feeling the stitches. Textured yarn can be challenging to know where you are and especially if you have to rip back and change something. The results were great looking although I imagine wearing it will be heavy and hot!
The yarn and the color is soooo beautiful. I can't wait to complete my project.

I love this yarn
I ordered this yarn with no idea of what I was going to do with it. Well it arrived earlier than expected and to my surprise, it is extremely soft. I have ideas on how to use it, ex: cuffs and collar on cardigans/sweaters or maybe even the cuff of socks and fingerless mitts. I don't know but I can't wait to use it.
I have ordered or purchased a lot of this yarn either in person or from a local retailer. It is so soft and lightweight, making it a perfect add/twist in product to amigurumi projects. I will definitely continue buying as long as I can!
