Lovely yarn

I love using the Moroccan Nights yarn. The colorways are beautiful and easy to crochet with. I have made different shawls with different colors and all look terrific. One of my favorite yarns to work with.

My friends shawl

I made my friend a shawl using the wishes color. We were both very pleased with the way the colors changed subtlety. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. It washed and dried up nicely.

Good choice

This is the first project bigger than a potholder that I’ve tried in many years. I enjoy yarns with their own color changes, a little more fun waiting for each change. The sparkle is nice too. I’m a slow knitter, but this is helping me through the allergy season; it gives me an indoor project. One perhaps flaw that is noteworthy is the sudden appearance of a knot, which means a sudden color change. I don’t actually mind it, as the color change fits in all right overall, but the photo does show how suddenly the yellow/turquoise strand appears after the blue/brown, likewise with the green/brown popping up next. I haven’t come to the pink and purple yet, but it should be interesting. The yarn doesn’t split apart easily while knitting, which is a plus. It is soft enough to be comfortable, and overall I am satisfied with the purchase. If it looks very good at the end, maybe I’ll send another photo.

Beautiful yarn!!

It’s not as soft as I had hoped. It’s soft but just not really soft. I’m sure it’s the sparkle I feel. However, I have worked with some sparkle yarns from other companies that have a lot of broken strands in the ball. These strands are not broken at all and have not broken while being worked up. As pretty as it is on the ball, it’s even prettier worked into fabric!!
