Shawls are a warm, luxurious way to stay comfortable in the winter, and Homespun® is a great yarn for making them. You’ll stay cozy, even when it’s frigid outside.

Homespun Yarn

There’s no better way to bundle up than in the soft, textured hug of Homespun®. The unique feel of this yarn makes for lovely cold-weather items, like blankets, scarves, and shawls. A miserable, frosty winter day is no match for this acrylic-polyester blend. It’s exactly what you need to burrow under and stay out of the snow.

Whether you are a novice or an expert, and whether you knit or crochet, we’ve got something for you to make. You’ll want to snuggle under these shawls forever — or at least until spring.

As an added bonus — until January 26, Homespun® is 20% off as part of our Made in the USA sale! All of our American-made yarns are discounted, so you can try them out for less.

Cozy Shawls to Make

These garments are both beautiful and functional. You can wear them around the house, as a snuggly wrap for lounging on the couch, or throw them on over your clothes and wear them out. They can even go to the office! If you’re the type who is always cold, these are perfect. You will absolutely love the cozy depth of Homespun® yarn.

If you know someone with a winter birthday, these can make great gifts! What better way to feel pampered than to wrap up in something cozy? Whether it’s a good friend, a mother-in-law, or a daughter who can never get warm, these would be a thrill to receive. They’re so lovely they could even function as heirloom pieces, being passed down within the family.

  • My Homespun shawl is my favourite! Super soft and cozy and it’s washed well after many winters of use.

  • The triangular shawl from the Outlander is like the one Tasha Tudor always wore. Sometimes she put an edge on it. I’ve made a few over the years. Easy and warm.
