This crochet takes on the knit Mont Blanc Cardigan brings a more structured silhouette with a lengthened body and the addition of pockets. The dense, shielding fabric adds warmth to the body, leaving the arms free. This is an effortless piece to throw on over a turtleneck or light jacket.

This was my first large crochet project and it took me a couple attempts, but I’m pleased with the final result. I followed size small for width but took liberties on length. I also used a smaller hook the second time around. Steam blocking was a game changer. It made the wool feel incredibly soft. I used the colour arctic ice. I really wanted to use the colour sea glass but there wasn’t enough at my local store.
