Needlessly tedious

I found this pattern needlessly tedious to follow. I ended up frogging the entire project and finding a different pattern after about 20 rows because of the way the pattern was written. I much prefer patterns that I can memorize quickly and this pattern makes that impossible.

Quick and cute!

I followed the chart version of the pattern, and refered to the written version a couple of times, and other than I would prefer a count for each row, I did not find the pattern difficult. I did find myself refering to the chart much more on the side that increases than the side that decreases. I was able to finish the project in a couple of evenings, and now have a super cute shawl!

Enjoying this pattern so far. I'm relatively new to crochet and have never done a pattern with increase/decrease. The stitch diagram is a big help with this. I'm using Cleansing Quartz colorway, which I adore, but excited to use other colors of this yarn. Thank you for the great pattern!
