Just OK

I purchased the Barley color for an afghan project and am disappointed. The color is not an exact match to the website and is more dull in person. It is also not very soft, which is okay for my afghan but I would not want to wear this next to my skin. It splits rather easily which makes some stitches more difficult. You get what you pay for!

I Made a Scarf for My Granddaughter

It was my first time using this yarn. Not my favorite. It came untwisted a little too easily, slowing me down, and it’s not as soft as I would have liked for a scarf.

By far, one of my favorite yarns

I discovered Vanna's Choice by catching a sale and have been sold on the products since. Once my afghans were washed and dried, they were soft and cuddly. I love it for regular crochet and Tunisian

A little scratchy

I purchased this yarn to follow a pattern I purchased that used this yarn. While this yarn is much more inexpensive than others of the same weight fron Lion Brand, it is understandable why. This feels much stiffer and scratchier than some others here. It felt like there was a coating on the yarn that is similar to another RH supersaver. It looked nice, I just was not a fan of the feel. I was really happy to finish my garment to not have to crochet with it anymore. It did soften up a lot more after washing it, but it is still stiffer than I would like. It was fine for the poncho since you have to wear a top under this so that will work out. You can see how stiff the fabric came out in the picture and how it softened up a bit after washing. I am sure with use it will get softer.

Perfect for my project!

I bought the Vanna's Choice yarn because the pattern I was using suggested it in order to obtain an exact replica, which my customer wanted. I was not disappointed, and my customer was ecstatic with the result. The yarn was easy to work with and I would buy it again.
