GAUGE: 3.75 sts = 1inches on Size J hook. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| LOVED the texture of this blanket! It is super easy to do, yet looks so complicated! I used this pattern & made the blanket bigger. I also changed the hood to a more rounded hood, using the same stitch instead of the DC's. I then added frog eyes, as found in Vanna White's Lion Brand pattern. It was a SUPER hit! Will definitely make again. Hope to do a girl frog with purple eyelids & long lashes!
