WAND
Print out star template and glue to cardboard using glue stick.
Cut out.
Staple the cardboard star to one end of the straw.
Cover Star
Beginning at the top, apply a small amount of glue to one side of cardboard star. Wrap A around star. Continue to apply glue to one section of star at a time and wrap with yarn until entire star is covered. Knot yarn to last wrap near straw and trim end. With sewing needle and thread, sew a few stitches through the yarn end to secure it to the star.
Wrap Straw
Apply a small amount of glue to the straw, just below the star. Wrap B around the straw over the glued area, taking care that there is no straw visible between wraps. Continue to apply glue to one section of straw at a time and wrap with B until the straw is covered.
Knot yarn to last wrap at end of straw and glue yarn tail to the inside of the straw.
Allow to dry.
