Cozy Cowl Hood
Lion Brand® Amazing®
GAUGE: 14 sc = 4 in. (10 cm).
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL FOR THIS PROJECT.
NOTES: 1. Cowl is worked in joined rnds. At the end of each rnd, join last st with sl st in first st. Turn work at the beg of each rnd.
2. If you find it difficult to join the beg ch into a ring without twisting the ch, Rnd 1 can be worked as a row, then joined into a rnd, as follows: Leaving a long beg tail, ch 85, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across; join with sl st in first sc - 84 sc. Use beg tail to sew gap at base of first row closed. Proceed to Rnd 2.
3. Drawstring is worked first so that remaining yarn can all be used for the Cowl.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each ch around; join with sl st in first sc - 84 sts at the end of this rnd.
Rnd 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc in this rnd and in all following rnds), turn, dc in each sc around; join with sl st in top of turning ch.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each dc around; join with sl st in first sc.
Repeat Rnds 2 and 3 until piece measures about 19 in. (48.5 cm) from beg.
Fasten off.
FINISHING

| I made a modified Cozy Cowl Hood and I love it. I used 2 strands of thick yarn with a P hook. It worked up super fast and keeps me nice and warm!
