Lion Brand® Silky Twist
GAUGE: 9 single crochet = 4 in (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Chain 22.
Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across - 21 single crochet.
Row 2: Chain 1, turn, working in back loops only, single crochet in each single crochet across.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures 19 in. (48.5 cm) from beginning. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through ends of rows along one long edge and pull to gather for top of Hat. Knot securely, then sew Hat seam with remaining tail.
FINISHING
Pom-Pom
Following package directions make a pom-pom. Tie pom-pom to top of Hat.
Weave in ends. |
