Loom Double Knit Duo Striped Scarf
Lion Brand® Martha Stewart CraftsTM/MC Alpaca Blend
GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
NOTES: 1. Scarf is knit as a flat piece.
2. Follow loom manual instructions for DOUBLE KNITTING for how to cast on, lace the loom, knit, change color, and bind off.

Loom Configuration
Use the following pieces: (2) 36-hole pieces, (2) U-shaped pieces.
Connect pieces to form a rectangle as follows: 36-hole piece > U-shaped piece > 36-hole piece > U-shaped piece.
Insert 15 large pegs into every other hole along one 36-hole piece. Working along same side of loom, skip one hole and place a large peg into next hole along one U-shaped piece.
Repeat across opposite 36-hole and U-shaped pieces - 30 working pegs placed. Place a large contrast color peg at one end of loom to hold beginning slipknot. Repeat on opposite end of loom.
SCARF
With A, and beginning with a slip knot on one contrast peg, cast onto all 30 working pegs. Refer to loom manual for DOUBLE KNITTING for placing scrap yarn and how to proceed in knitting.
Rows 1-6: With A, knit.
Row 7: Join B with a slipknot on opposite contrast peg. With A, lace every other peg across the loom - 15 pegs laced. With B, lace the remaining 15 pegs - 30 pegs laced. Knit off all pegs.
Row 8: Lace pegs holding A loops with A and lace pegs holding B loops with B. Knit off all pegs.
Repeat Row 8 untll piece measures about 44 in. (112 cm) from beginning.
Last 6 Rows: With A, knit.
Bind off.
Bind off cast on edge.
FINISHING
Thread yarn ends into yarn needle supplied with loom and weave ends into the fabric of the Scarf.
