Lace Vase Cozy
Lion Brand® Sock-EaseTM
GAUGE: 24 sts + 32 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p to WS). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: ssk (slip, slip, knit) Slip next 2 sts as if to knit, one at a time to right needle, insert left needle into fronts of these 2 sts and knit them together - 1 st decreased.
yo (yarn over) wrap yarn over needle to create an eyelet in your work - 1 st increased.
PATTERN STITCH
Lacy Feathers Pattern (multiple of 11 + 1 sts)
Row 1 and all WS Rows: K1, *p10, k1; rep from * across.
Rows 2 and 4: P1, *k10, p1; rep from * across.
Rows 6, 10, and 14: P1, * k1, (yo, k1) 3 times, (ssk) 3 times, p1; rep from * across.
Rows 8 and 12: P1, *k1, (k1, yo) 3 times, (ssk) 3 times, p1; rep from * across.
Rows 16 and 18: Rep Rows 2 and 4.
Rows 20 and 24: P1, *(k2tog) 3 times, (k1, yo) 3 times, k1, p1; rep from * across.
Rows 22 and 26: P1, *(k2tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 3 times, k1, p1; rep from * across.
Row 28: P1, *(k2tog) 3 times, (k1, yo) 3 times, k1, p1; rep from * across.

NOTES: 1. Materials are sufficient to make more than one Cozy.
2. Cozy is worked in one piece then cast on and bound off edges are seamed.
3. The Lace Pattern used in this Cozy requires that you keep track of your sts. Count your sts at the end of each row to ensure that you have the same number of sts on your needle as you cast on.
4. Use a row counter to keep track of which rows of the 28-row Lacy Feathers Pattern you have worked.
5. Size of Cozy is adjustable. Simply rep Lacy Feathers Pattern Rows 1-28 to the length needed to fit the circumference of your vase. Always end Lacy Feathers Pattern with a WS row.

COZY
Cast on 67 sts.
Work Rows 1-28 of Lacy Feathers pattern until piece measures about 12 1/2 (32 cm) from beginning, ending with a WS Row.
Bind off. Cut yarn, leaving a long yarn tail.
FINISHING
Thread tail into blunt needle. Seam cast on and bound off edges of piece together to form a tube.
Weave in ends.

| I am making 15 of these for my Grand daughts wedding. I have 4 made and they are beautiful. The only thing is you knit them in a vertical pattern and then when you seam them it kturns the project horizontal.I sent an image but they said that I had done something wrong.
