Wine Carrier
Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice®
GAUGE:
Rnds 1-8 = 3 1/2 in. (9 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES:
1. Carrier is worked in continuous rnds. Do not join and do not turn at beg of rnds, except in Rnd 8 as instructed. A marker is used to indicate the beg of rnd. Move marker up as each rnd is completed.
2. To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st. Fasten off old color.
3. Carrier, strap, and edging are worked all in one piece. Do not fasten off after completing Carrier, proceed directly to the Strap, then the edging.

Very easy and quick to make. I lined the bag and handle because I felt the yarn had too much give. I used a simple cotton swatch, and it coordinated beautifully.
