Felted Leaves Table Runner
Lion Brand® Fishermen's Wool®
GAUGE: 13 sc = about 4 in. (10 cm) before felting. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | Picot Ch 4, sl st in 4th ch from hook. |
NOTES: 1. Leaves #1 and #2 are worked in continuous rnds; do not join and do not turn at beg of rnds. A marker is used to indicate the beg of rnd. Move marker up as each rnd is completed.
2. Leaf #3 is worked back and forth in rows.
3. Completed Leaves are lightly felted by hand.
4. Instructions are for a 40 in. (101.5 cm) long Runner. Materials are sufficient to make additional Leaves if you wish to make a longer Runner.
