Hometown Hat
Lion Brand® Hometown USA®
GAUGE: 9 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) over Stockinette st worked in the rnd (k every rnd). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| I made this hat for myself in the Pittsburgh Yellow and Packers Green. It worked up really will. But now I'm making it for a friend in the Black and Pittsburgh Yellow. The bottom of it is even to small for a childs head. It seems I'm not casting on enough stitches . And when I first made it you started it on size 13 circular needles and then went to double points when you decreased for the top.
