6 hdc + 5 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. STITCH EXPLANATION:
Cl (cluster) (Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo and draw up a loop, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yo and draw through all loops on hook.
DOG SWEATER
BACK With A, ch 12 (17, 20, 21).
Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook (counts as 2 hdc), hdc in each ch to end – 11 (16, 19, 20) hdc.
Inc Row: Ch 2 (counts as hdc here and throughout), turn, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in each st to last 2 sts, 2 hdc in next st, hdc in last st – 13 (18, 21, 22) hdc.

Pattern is very veige when it comes to sewing it up. No detailed information. I do not understand how to sew up the holes for the legs. Does not even show on the pattern where to sew it up at. Not detailed enough.
