Tassel Necklace

GAUGE: Exact gauge is not essential to this project.
NOTES: 1. Materials are sufficient to make multiple Necklaces.
2. Pattern is written for White and Blue Necklace with changes for Light Pink and Orange Necklace in parentheses.

TASSEL (make 5 for each Necklace)
Wrap a strand each of A and B (C and D) around cardboard 5 times. Cut a length of A (C) and thread doubled into large-eyed blunt needle. Insert needle under all strands at upper edge of cardboard. Pull tightly and knot securely near strands. Cut yarn loops at lower edge of cardboard.
Cut a length of A (C) and wrap tightly around loops 1 in. (2.5 cm) below top knot for Tassel neck. Knot securely; thread ends onto needle and weave into Tassel.
ASSEMBLY
Cut 3 lengths of A (C), each 32 in. (81.5 cm) long.
Knot lengths together at one end. Beginning a few inches from knot, braid strands to within a few inches of remaining end, knot this end of strands.
Pull braided length through top knot of Tassels. Loop ends of braided length together, secure by knotting onto braided length.
FINISHING
Trim Tassel ends evenly.
