Scrumptious Carrots

Lion Brand® Microspun

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential to this project.

CARROTS (make 2)
Cut 2 lengths from drinking straw, each 3 1/2 in. (9 cm). Apply glue to a small section of straw, then wrap with yarn. Continue to cover straw in this manner, wrapping more layers of yarn at one end to make carrot shape.

Allow glue to dry.

Seems to me this unnecessarily wastes yarn. Could use a carrot shaped foundation instead - perhaps made of foam...then could make a lot more carrots to feed the stuffed horses.
