BASKET
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch. Place marker in first st for beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rep from * around - 18 sc.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 2 sts, rep from * around - 24 sts.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 3 sts, rep from * around - 30 sts.
Rnd 6: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 4 sts, rep from * around - 36 sts.
Rnd 7: Working through back loops, sc in each sc stitch - 36 sts.
Rnd 8: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 sts, rep from * around - 42 sts.
Rnd 9: Sc in each sc around - 42 sts.
Rnd 10: *2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 6 sts, rep from * around - 48 sts.
Rnd 11: Sc in each sc around - 48 sts.

HANDLE
With A, ch 51.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 50 sts.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across- 50 sts.
Fasten off.
FLOWER
With B, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch.
Rnd 2: * Work 2 hdc and sl st in next sc, rep from * around.
Fasten off.
LEAF
With C, ch 4
2 dc in first ch, hdc in next ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working into opposite side of ch, work hdc in next ch, 2 dc in next ch, sl st beg st.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Sew ends of Handle inside Basket. Sew on Flower and Leaf. Weave in ends. |

| This turned out very nice but I think the handle is too long. Also I did not make the handle separately but instead of cutting thread at end of basket round, I chained how may stitches I wanted for the handle, joined on opposite of basket, turned and sc in each chain. Then if you want the handle wider, you can turn work and do another row of sc if you want. Also I crocheted a mini version of this in crochet thread (size 10 knitcrosheen) and a size 7 crochet hook and it turned out very cute. Measures approximately 1 inch high and 2 1/4 inches wide at top of basket.
