Meandering Rib Scarf
Lion Brand® Wool-Ease®
GAUGE: 25 sts + 30 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Stockinette st (k on right side, p on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

| For an easy to knit scarf this certainly looks impressive and I felt very accomplished. To make the pattern easy to follow, I used Word to type up each row as it should be knitted in a large, easier to read font. I used a large paper clip to hold a stiff 1/2 inch length of paper beneath the row to be worked to avoid confusion. Just slide the clip down as you progress. I do this with similar patterns I like and will use often. I also made an "Ellen's Ship" hat in matching yarn to make a set.
