GAUGE:
10 sts + 13 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Overall, this could be a good looking jacket and easy to make, but the design is sloppy. The front steek is way to short, pulling up the bottom edge. Also, the frogs are applied so the front gapes open. It sort of defeats the purpose of a warm and cozy jacket. With a few tweeks here and there, this could be dynamite.
