Walk of Fame Star Afghan
Lion Brand® Homespun® - Glitterspun®
GAUGE: 10 hdc + 7 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] with A and larger hook. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: When changing colors, work last hdc to the point where there are 3 loops on hook, yarn over with new color and pull through all loops on hook.
Use separate balls of yarn for each section of color. Do not carry unused colors across wrong side of work.

| I modified this pattern and added some sections out to the right to make a Texas flag blanket. I'd had the idea to make this for my dad for quite some time, but couldn't quite figure out how to do the star portion until I found this pattern. It was very easy, though keeping a good count is essential.
