Gauge is way off

There is no way to get gauge with this pattern. I bought as a kit and now to make it I do not have enough yarn.

Hello CF - we're sorry you're having trouble matching the gauge for this pattern! Remember that the gauge in the pattern is measured after blocking, and an open stitch pattern like this can stretch quite a bit. You may also want to try switching the hook material, as metal and plastic can make a looser gauge than bamboo or wood hooks.

Fun Project, sizing ran small for me

It's a fun project, but sizing was on the small side. Had to 1size up even though I got the gauge.

Beginner friendly

I have only been crocheting for a few months and this is my first attempt at making a sweater. This pattern is very easy to follow and truly beginner friendly!

So far so good . . . .

I am part way through making the back. The "Suzette" stitch is very easy and works up quickly. Will update when finished.

Cute cardi!

I have been wanting to make the Habitat Cardigan for a long and I finally took the plunge and bought the kit at a great price. I love Heartland yarn. I bought the kit with the recommended color, nice and neutral. It will go with everything. I read over the pattern and it seems straightforward enough. If I have any issues I will update my review.

Fun to make

I made this sweater with the Pound of Love worsted weight yarn. I used an 8.0 mm (L) hook on the main piece and the collar and a 6.5 mm (K) hook on the sleeves. I had to add additional stitches to adjust for the difference in the type of yarn originally suggested, but it turned out beautifully.
