1st crochet project

This bag was my very 1st crochet project after learning a few basic stitches from YouTube videos. I was able to complete the project with no pattern reading experience whatsoever. Although I haven't quite gotten the hang of counting my completed rows or ensuring I have the same number of stitches in each row. I am proud my bag looks similar to the picture so it was a WIN for me! I will be using this as my poolside/beach bag.

LOVE this pattern!

I have made this several times, not only with Rewind Yard, but with other types of yarns of similar (or heavier) weights.
The instructions are easy to follow, the illustrations make the tricky bag fold clear and simple.
The thick handle cushions your shoulder if you are carrying something heavier in the bag.
All in all, this is a well-thought-out, well-written pattern!
And--
It looks so cute!
