Love this Yarn!

I use the wool-ease yard for afghans I've been knitting for my family members. I have attached photos of a few to show the beauty one can get using this yard. The black and gold is knitted using your regular yarn since it was for my granddaughter and I needed her college colors. It is easier using the wool-ease for my pattern and I have found it is so soft, cuddly, and cozy. I highly recommend using wool-ease.

I have bought it in several different colors and used it mostly to make amigurumi. Easy to work with, seems durable as well. I prefer this one over cotton yarns, I like the look and feel of the finished items.

Wool-Ease is my go-to yarn

I have loved Wool-Ease since I discovered it. I was living in Prescott, AZ. There was no LYS; there was WalMart, but WalMart had So Many Colors of Wool-Ease. I wanted to knit Anna Zilboorg's Turkish socks, and I did, from Wool-Ease. Since, I have made many baby blankets, at least one sweater, and quite a few little animals. And mittens. And scarves. I have shoeboxes of many different brands and fibers, but I have a big, plastic tote of Wool-Ease. I'm sorry you have discontinued some colors. Why do I love it? It's warm, it's soft, and it washes. The Chunky and the Thick-and-Quick are nice, but the basic worsted is so
versatile and affordable. When you put it on sale, I can't help buying more!

Honest basic staple yarn.

I have been in love with it for decades, it gave back to me in return, we have a solid relationship. That's how I'd describe Wool-Ease worsted if we were both human. Every now and then it has a knotted joint or roving section through the skein but then again it's the same yarn I could afford back in the day and I appreciate the fact it stayed the same while I changed in more ways than one. In fact I'm fiercely loyal to this particular line as unlike many fads and trends it is the old, the good and the trusted Wool-Ease, my great friend that I'm looking forward to seeing again.

Chose Forest Green Heather in the Crochet Kit - Brentwood Men’s Pullover. Wool-Ease is so forgiving & hearty. I struggled with the pattern and had frogged and started over so many times I can't even remember the exact number. Not just a little frogging but frogging whole back panels and most of the front panels & restarting project . This yarn frogged easily (thank goodness) and reworked so well! It never broke or thinned out. It did knot or get stuck a few times and I had to cut it but as many times as I frogged the project....it was statistically expected. After all that, attempting a completely different sweater (picture below) and the yarn is still holding up. I'm amazed considering how much it has been tortured! I think it is a little scratchy for only being 20% Wool but wouldn't hinder me from purchasing again. The colors to choose from are my favorites. But this Forest Heather Green is my all time favorite!
