Waste of money and time

After purchasing the emoji yarn that came out pretty good. I purchased the star to make a pillow and take to school for my students to use. This in no way looks like a star and I won’t be using it. I worked it twice, counting each row as directed. It didn’t even have enough yarn loops to make equal rows on top like on the bottom. Such a disappointment. Will not purchase these again and will not recommend it.

Hello Theresa - our apologies that your star didn't turn out as expected! It sounds like you received a ball that didn't have the correct loop pattern, which could explain why the star has uneven edges. Please email our quality control team at [email protected] so they can help you with this issue.

Great project for 3 generations of crafters!

I am 61, my daughter is 36 and my granddaughter is 8. We all enjoyed making these. I hope you bring them back! My granddaughter wants to make them for Christmas presents.

Soft yarn

I bought these for my kids’ Christmas. I plan to have them make it, sew the two kits together and make it into a small cushion. It seems soft, but one of the skein has some bright red leached onto the white yarn, I hope it doesn’t affect the look of the finished products too much.

Purchased a few of these for the young ones in the family. I can't say that I would recommend them to make on their own. You can miss a loop very easily and it won't come out to shape. I redid them and have made in to pillows to give instead. Ok for a 9 yr old, or if you are near to monitor. Quite fun!!! So Soft!!!

I bought 3 unicorn and 3 heart skeins, thinking of making a blanket for a coming baby with the participation of the 3 siblings. Due to shipping delays and an early birth, that did not go according to plan, but anyway the work is too hard for a 5-year old and a 3-year old. Hanukkah came early this year and the 8-year old is more interested in her new gifts than in the yarn. I completed 4 rectangles, and she suggested making 3 pillows instead of a blanket as the baby already has plenty of blankets. I'll ask the mom. There was a mistake in one skein, easily correctable, and once I figured out the method, I could handle inconsistencies in the beginning loops; the process is enjoyable. There is a lot of pilling, though, which I did not have with the regular color skeins I had used for the 3-year old blanket. If the issue persists after a wash, the number of stars will go down; if it disappears, the number of stars will be 5.

I bought this for my nephew to use and he's excited about it. Of course his mother will have to help some since he is only 5. I've watched the videos and think it's a great idea. Can't wait to see the finished product.
