From shawls to sweaters to throws, this yarn can't be beat for softness and sheer touch-ability. With solids, heathers, and beautiful self-striping 'painterly' colors, Homespun® comes in gorgeous shades you'll love. Please note that some colors have long, slow color variations that cause them to subtly stripe. This is deliberate and adds to the beauty of the finished garment; such yarns are designated as our 'painterly' colors.

I love this Homespun yarn!

I just finished an afghan for my cousin - she picked the colors - it was great to offer her the selection of colors in Homespun, so she got just what she wanted. They are summer beach goers - this is my 'sunlight on rippling waters' interpretation. I'm so pleased! I love Homespun! Thanks for the Homespun options! I'm halfway through a different one for myself.

My favorite yarn

The Homespun yarn is so soft and easy to work with. I’ve been using 2 different colors together (Delft and Montana Sky are my current colors) and crocheting afghans which are very warm and cozy. I’ve also crocheted a caplet with the Tudor color which turned out beautifully!

Love Homespun Yarn

I prefer textured yarn for the sheen and depth of subtle color Lion Brand Homespun yarn provides. Ive made a number of neck scarves and am working on a gorgeous wrap. This cowl example shown is Tudor Rose and the photo doesn’t do justice to the beautiful yarn.

Dream to work with

I used this yarn to make the Bobbi Fringe Scarf from TL YarnCrafts. It was so easy to work with! I will be using it again soon.

Have made many wraps

I have used this yarn to make a shoulder wrap. I have made many of these with this yarn and with the similar Homespun New which has been discontinued. Depending on hook size and experience level it may not be easy to use yarn. Does not frog easily. That is the only reasons I gave it 4 stars.
