I noticed a lot of beautiful things crocheted or knitted items with yarn. However, I don't do either, I use the yarn for my designed dolls that I sew and give as gifts. I have been using Heartland for a lot of years. I like the way the yarn brings out highlights of color. I prefer this type of yarn compared to many others. I Love this yarn! Stitches in a different direction.

One of My Favorites!

This is one of my favorite yarns for sweaters and cardigans. It is super soft and easy to work with. The finished fabric definitely creates a warm fabric for fall/winter. I also love all of the color options and have thought about using this yarn for my 2024 temperature blanket.

Best yarn ever.

I have used so much of this yarn. It is wonderful to crochet with. I have made quite a few afghans. I am working on one now with Olympic. Hats, scarves etc. You can do it all with this yarn. I also am working on a temp blanket and chose to use Heartland. And I am using 10 different colors. I split the blanket in half with one side being the lows the other the highs. It is creating a great contrast. This yarn washes up beautiful.

Perfect weight!

I used Lion Brand Heartland Yarn in color way Wolf Trap to make the Ferne Sideways Shawl, a free pattern from Truly Crochet (https://trulycrochet.com/ferne-sideways-shawl-free-crochet-pattern). The weight, drape, and feel of this yarn is perfect for this shawl. Try it for one of your own projects!

The best!

I use Heartland yarn to make hats for donation. Love the colors, feel of the yarn and that it’s machine washable and dryable. Last year, my hats went with a missionary to Ukraine. In a pinch, I’ve tried other yarns for these hats but this is by far the best!
