difficult pattern to follow and I have been crocheting for many years

Fabulous end product ... tad bit confusing pattern.

I made several of these for my granddaughters for Christmas last year. I really loved the finished product and once I finished the first one the rest were super easy. I did't give this 5 stars because as 'mecrochet' stated ... the pattern was a tad bit confusing at first. But if you take you time and read it out loud to yourself ( a trick a sweet little old lady who had been knitting and crocheting all her life taught me) it all fell into place.
