Cute cardi!

I have been wanting to make the Habitat Cardigan for a long and I finally took the plunge and bought the kit at a great price. I love Heartland yarn. I bought the kit with the recommended color, nice and neutral. It will go with everything. I read over the pattern and it seems straightforward enough. If I have any issues I will update my review.

Fun to make

I made this sweater with the Pound of Love worsted weight yarn. I used an 8.0 mm (L) hook on the main piece and the collar and a 6.5 mm (K) hook on the sleeves. I had to add additional stitches to adjust for the difference in the type of yarn originally suggested, but it turned out beautifully.

Was fun to make. Easy as stated. It is just so bulky. Would recommend making with lighter weight yarn and adjusting the number of stitches accordingly.

Habitat Cardigan

This is one of my favorite patterns. I didn't buy the kit but used the pattern and now have made 12 adult ones and 6 children's which I altered myself. My adult daughters wanted them and then grand girls wanted them. It is seriously one of my favorites and now I can basically do one in my sleep :) LOVE IT!!

I am making one right now, can we show our work when it's done? How do I go about it?
I have about 2/3rds of the big rectangle it may take another two weeks before I can finish it, but I love it already and the Suzette stitch works fast, easy and gives a lovely result! This is really a winner!
